i-Recall

i-Recall, one of DTG’s subsidiaries, is an emerging leader in personal media productivity and knowledge management software. i-Recall is enabling people and enterprises to enrich their communications by making digital media easy to use and share with others. Daedalus developed a Palm(tm)-based application for i-Recall’s initial demo of Souvenir(tm), the company’s debut product. Souvenir(tm) is media-enabled note-taking software for palmtop, laptop, and desktop computers. It allows people to use their notes as a personal index into an audio/video recording.

In the area of Technology Assessment, Daedalus provided consulting to i-Recall on their overall technology plan, and Dr. Nathaniel Polish (President and Founder of Daedalus) served as their interim CTO.

Soliloquy, Inc.

The goal of Soliloquy was to integrate speech recognition, speech synthesis, natural language processing and database technology to create a new computer interaction metaphor. Imagine programming your VCR by saying “Record Seinfeld” or asking your car “Where’s the closest gas station?”

Daedalus designed and built the prototype system, a voice-enabled web page for navigating through a music database. Dr. Nathaniel Polish of Daedalus Technology Group, Inc., is a Co-Founder, Director, was the initial CTO and the principal product designer of Soliloquy, Inc.

Savos, Inc.

Daedalus developed and implemented a real-time audio streaming system for Savos in order for it to carry out its content delivery plan. Savos was recently acquired by Bearpaw Systems.
